Activities
Whale watching, over 100 Southern Right Whales in the season from June to November.
Fishing, the best estuary angling in the Cape, spotted grunter, kob, steenbras, leervis, elf and a variety of smaller species.
Bird spotting, over 200 species with estuarine, veld and Fynbos species.
Walking, one can walk from the lodge to the mouth of the river, there are beautiful walks in the veld also.
