Directions

From Cape Town:
Take the N2 national highway 246 km (2.5 hrs) in an easterly direction, then take the Witsand / Port Beaufort
turnoff and drive 34km towards the coast.

Alternative route via N1 / R60:
Travel the N1 from Cape Town towards Paarl, turning onto the R60 at Worcester and drive towards Ashton, then turn off to Swellendam. Turn onto the N2 at Swellendam and drive 25km, then take the Witsand/Port Beaufort turnoff and drive 34km towards the coast. (approx. 300km or 3hrs).
Alternative route via N1 / R60 / R62:
Continue along the picturesque R62 then turn-off onto the R324 before Barrydale; drive over the mountain
pass to Buffelsdrift, on the N2, before turning east towards George. Drive 15 km then take the Witsand/Port Beaufort turnoff and drive 34km towards the coast. (approx. 280km or 3hrs). .

From Port Elizabeth (PE):
Take the N2 national road in a south-westerly direction, entering the Eden region on the Garden Route through Plettenberg Bay / Bitou, continue on through Knysna, George and Mossel Bay, before entering Hessequa’s outer regions of Gouritsmond, Albertinia and through the central area of Riversdale. Drive 33km towards Heidelberg then turn left at Witsand/Port Beaufort and drive 34km towards the coast. (approx. 550km or 6hrs).
