From Cape Town ± 300km to Witsand
N1 Route
Take the N1 to Worcester.  Take the R60 to Robertson pass through Robertson and Ashton. Turn right towards Swellendam – Turn left on N2.

1st Turnoff (R324 – Witsand/Port Beaufort) is a gravel road all the way.

2nd Turnoff ± 40km after Swellendam (R322 – Witsand/Port Beaufort) – 3km before Heidelberg, is a tarred road.  Turn right off the N2.  Drive about 37km to Witsand.

N2 Route
Take the N2 to George.  Travel through Riviersonderend (166km from Cape Town) and Swellendam (90km from Witsand).

1st Turnoff (R324 – Witsand/Port Beaufort) is a gravel road all the way.

2nd Turnoff +/- 40km after Swellendam (R322 – Witsand/Port Beaufort) – 3km before Heidelberg, is a tarred road.  Turn right off the N2.  Drive about 37km to Witsand.

From George ± 200km to Witsand

Take the N2 to Cape Town. 

Pass Mossel Bay, Albertinia & Riversdale.  3km after Heidelberg turn left on the R322 (Port Beaufort/Witsand).

Drive about 37km to Witsand.
